DESIGN
Working at a digital marketing agency for over three years gave me the chance to build my skill in product design from scratch. It allowed me to learn how to create realistic as well as abstract product depictions for social media brand marketing while only using pack shots, improving and refining my skills in Adobe Photoshop as well as Adobe InDesign.
Here's a selection of the many product designs I created for one of my former clients, a pharmaceutical supplements company from Tyrol, Austria.

A few of my former clients and projects also required me to illustrate on some occasions. For this, I enjoy working with Procreate as well as Adobe Illustrator.
This former client, for example, asked for a series of seasonal caricatures centered around Christmas and Halloween. I came up with both the concepts and jokes as well as drawing the illustrations to create these consecutive Instagram postings.
In my process and thanks to the experience I gained from working as a content creator, I'm not only used to but also very much enjoy coming up with the original creative concept and text as well as the final design, all by myself. The creative freedom and bandwidth it brings, is what allowed and still allows me to offer out of the box designs and illustrations such as these.

I admit, it was a bit of a rocky road in the beginning, but After Effects and me have become very good friends by now. After teaching myself about keyframes and alpha channels for over the course of a year, I discovered my curiosity and love for making especially typography-based animations for various social media clients.
As this little video of some of my personal favourites shows, I enjoy combining all three elements of visuality, typography and music to create engaging and exciting reels that range from promoting a job offering to calling to action for a protest march to fight for democracy and freedom.

I love getting creative and quirky with all my designs, if given the chance. Coming from a journalism background, I'm quite well acquainted with finding the right headlines and expressions – and combining that skill with social media and digital design has made it possible for me to, so to speak, offer the full package: Drawing up the creative concept, writing the fitting copies and, in the end, creating the envisioned design.
As I'm currently participating in a course for commercial graphic design, I learn more about this process of creation and the according Adobe softwares every single day and look forward to not only coming up with designs for the screen but also for the world of print.
